H.F. Guggenheim Foundation honored with SARA NY Design Award of Honor

Congrats to MBB, who were honored with a 2023 Society of Registered Architect NY Design Award of Honor for their work with the H.F. Guggenheim Foundation. MFLD provided lighting design for the Foundation’s new workspace featuring linear LEDs integrated into the exposed waffle slab structure, providing balanced illumination throughout the 5,000 square-foot suite. The design maximizes daylight while enhancing flexibility with a bright lounge, conference room, and private offices, ensuring both functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions.

Under construction and October 2020 is the renovation project for the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation in NYC. The library, multi-purpose and event/conference space is designed by MBB Architects. MFLD employed linear uplight/downlight pendants to model the mid-century style concrete coffered ceiling.
