This 125-year-old educational music and dance institution embarked upon a two year renovation of its primary public spaces. MFLD provided new integrated and decorative lighting designs throughout, including lobbies, main performance space, community space and ancillary administrative spaces. Decorative LED light panels were modified and integrated into painted wood acoustic panels. Continuous linear grazers at the perimeter walls provide warm ambient illumination and step lights embedded in the seating risers provide aisle lighting. A preset dimming system integrates architectural and theatrical control zones.
