SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker

New York, NY | Cass Calder Smith Architecture

The SJP Collection is a 1,100 s.f. downtown boutique located in the South Street Seaport District developed by The Howard Hughes Corporation. The building’s historic architectural details inspired the concept of designing a space that felt more like a town house than a traditional retail environment. Everything from the framing and placement of photographs and artwork to an eclectic mix of both vintage and new furniture was selected to make customers feel as if they were in a causal, comfortable living room of a downtown residence or dream closet trying on shoes. The decorative lighting reflects the modern clean aesthetic of the SJP line. The retail lighting is comprised of shielded recessed ceiling luminaires and linear LED fixtures integrated into the millwork vitrines.
